OUR GOAL

In obedience to Christ’s words found in Matthew 28:19 “go and make disciples of all nations….” , 
and in agreement with the Evangelical Covenant Church’s desire to see more disciples among more 
populations in a more caring world, we are committed to:
  • Culturally relevant evangelism
  • Forming communities of Christ followers
  • Spiritual formation
  • Equipping God’s people for ministry and leadership
  • Demonstrating the whole gospel by seeking to address the spiritual, social, emotional, mental and physical needs of people.

OUR RESPONSE

The hands and feet of our local Praise Covenant Congregation are extended by prayerful and financial support to approximately 30 local and global ministry staff and organizations.

Support for these agencies comes largely from “faith promise pledges”. These are funds given over and above regular offerings to Praise Covenant Church. Thus we join the rest of the global church in engaging in God’s mission across cultures and around the world. 

Local missions we support include The Tacoma Rescue Mission, CareNet, Tacoma SeaFarers, Child Evangelism Fellowship and Pierce County Chaplaincy.

Global outreaches include caring for prisoners, advanced theological training in various countries, and staff reaching out in more than 10 different countries through various agencies including the Evangelical Covenant Church.
