Planting Hope Conference: Bridging Faith and Youth Mental Health Friday and Saturday May 10-11. Come see the documentary “Anxious Nation” this Friday at 6 p.m. and join us Saturday 9am-4pm for a variety of speakers and workshops dealing with identifying what mental health is, tools you can apply, and how to have hope even in the midst of difficulties. Free for parents, youth, young adults and concerned adults ($10 lunch optional). Register on church website or after church in the foyer.

Scuba VBS will be August 5-9 from 9:00am-12:00pm. Registration for volunteers and children is now available at https://www.praisecovenant.net/vbs . Please contact Michelle Marsden with any questions. We hope to "sea" you there! 

The Women’s Ministry Spring Tea is Saturday, May 18 from 12:00pm-2pm. Tickets are $10 per person and are on sale May 5 and May 12. (If needed, you may reserve child care when you purchase your ticket. Children will need to bring a sack lunch.) Table hostesses and raffle basket donations are needed. If you are interested in hosting a table, please sign up at the Welcome Center or contact Christina Munt.

Introduction to Spiritual Formation class starts Sunday, May 19 at 8:30am in the Lower Fireside Room.

Monday Evening Men’s Study is continuing a study of “The Science of God,” by Gerald Schroeder. Our next meeting is Monday, May 6 at 6:00pm. (Please bring your own dinner; contact the church for location.)

Hymn Sing: Everyone is invited to remain after the service once a month to sing hymns accompanied by the organ and piano. Our next Hymn Sing is Sunday, May 12 following worship (this will be our last Hymn Sing until September).

Soup Sunday Fellowship: Our next Soup Sunday will be next Sunday, May 19 following worship (this will be our last Soup Sunday until September). Please call the church office to let us know what you would like to bring, either soup, bread, or a dessert. Letting us know makes sure we have plenty and do not run out of anything. Thank you!

Food Bank Donations: Much thanks to all of your prayers and food gifts to the Food Bank, Praise Covenant!!! As we step into May, the greatest food needs this month are canned fruit, pasta sauce in cans or plastic jars, and soup. You are helping so many people. Questions? Contact Val Ralston.
